About Insights Discovery
The Insights Discovery model is a simple and accessible four-colour model which helps people to understand more about themselves and others. It creates a common language that makes it easier to identify strengths and address weaknesses, so that individuals and teams can better connect and perform at their highest level. By understanding your own and others’ preferences better, you can take simple, practical actions that improve your everyday relationships.
The language of colour spreads quickly throughout organisations – it’s memorable, simple to understand and means that the learning isn’t forgotten once people are back on the day job.


Everyone receives a unique and in-depth Insights Discovery Personal Profile, which is the core of a host of different learning experiences – from individual coaching sessions, to e-learning to group workshops. Using the profiles as a springboard, we work with your people, teams and leaders to tackle the challenges that are standing between them and peak performance.
The profile is a personal development tool which gives people a uniquely compelling insight into themselves and others. It has five chapters, delivering in-depth insight into how people like to work, how they like to manage and be managed, and their ideal work environment, amongst other things. We usually start with the Foundation & Management Chapter, which makes each profile 22-pages long.
We also produce an Insights Team Wheel that will display each team member’s preferences in relation to the other members of the team.
By helping each team member understand their own personal style, how their colleagues prefer to work, and what that might mean for the team, we’re making the learning uniquely personal and applicable, right from the start.
We explore the teams preferences as a whole and think more deeply about team strengths, potential blind spots as well as the areas they need to be more intentional about.

How Does It Work?
This is a learning experience that makes time for intense self-reflection and creates a safe space for leaders to share their challenges and aspirations. Building on the knowledge from the Insights Discovery Personal Profile, leaders are challenged to reflect inwards on who they are, and consider how they can build their leadership capabilities in a way that’s authentic for them.
Leaders work with the Insights Discovery Transformational Leadership Profile, which gives insight into eight critical abilities within the leadership dimensions, as well as some really practical tips for enhancing their effectiveness in each area.
Leaders will be able to explore their own leadership style, and then – through a modular approach – turn their attention to those leadership dimensions they need to develop further.
