Become a Licensed Practitoner (LP)

The Insights Discovery Accreditation (IDA) will enable you to become an Insights Licensed Practitioner so you can offer training, coaching and facilitation using Insights Discovery as part of your learning solutions portfolio. The IDA will provide you with all the knowledge, skills and confidence to apply Insights Discovery to deliver transformational learning experiences for your clients.

At the end of the 4-day learning experience, you will know how to weave the colour language into your day-to-day operations as a facilitator or coach and create learning solutions specific to your clients’ business challenges.

You can attend an in-person or virtual IDA, depending on your preference. The sessions are designed for you to enjoy interactive exercises and group discussion while being guided through engaging learning content by our expert facilitators.

Become a Client Practitioner (CP)

The Insights Discovery Accreditation  (IDA) is a four-day learning  experience that will give you – as a training professional – all the skills and knowledge  you need to deliver impactful Insights  Discovery-based learning in your organisation. Being accredited as an Insights Discovery Client Practitioner means you can deliver workshops, coaching and Insights Discovery profile debriefings on your own, in your own workplace.

Saving time and money for your organisation, your people get the added benefit of development workshops delivered by colleagues that they already know. Having an Insights Discovery Practitioner within your organization ensures the learning is long-lasting, as it can be connected with day-to-day operations and communications.

The IDA and continued Practitioner Development helps you to become an expert people consultant so you can confidently advise your business or clients and direct your learners to successfully navigate business challenges, whilst keeping the human at the centre.
 
The IDA will license you to coach, deliver and create solutions to help with common business challenges around leadership, team dynamics, the selling process, customer service, change and much more. Supporting individuals and teams to increase their self-awareness and recognise different working styles will have a significant impact on their ability to be successful at work. 
 

You will have access to the Insights Discovery Learning system and Insights Discovery Personal Profiles to use as part of your learning and development solutions as well as access to thousands of thinking partners to support you through your journey.

When you join an IDA, Insights are committed to teaching you everything you need to know to apply Insights Discovery in your own organisation or in your delivery to clients. However, some facilitating and coaching experience will be assumed. You must have some prior knowledge of Insights Discovery in the form of either a workshop or debrief session. After all, we want you to experience the magic for yourself before you decide if the IDA is for you. But don’t worry if you haven’t yet experienced Insights Discovery! We can provide you with this experience if you’re interested in becoming a Practitioner.

When you register to attend an IDA (virtually or in-person), you’ll have essential pre-work to complete before you attend, which are:

  1. Complete your own Insights Personal Profile
  2. Complete the E-learning by watching and working through three video’s that will be sent to you via email in advance

You’ll have four days of interactive, enlightening education on the IDA itself, learning about all aspects of Insights Discovery and how to apply it to your business challenges.

Day One: Insights Discovery Theory

Setting up the IDA , Recap on key Insights Discovery theory (colour energies, Jungian preferences), Evaluator and graphs, The Insights Wheel (the eight types & attitudinal functions)

Day Two: Preparing to Deliver

The content covered on Day 2 includes: Best practice facilitation skills – Setting the context, perception and colour energies, Jungian preferences, profile introduction, face validity and graphs, recognising type, adapting to connect, action plans and teach-back preparation. 

Day Three: Delivering with Insights Discovery

Teach-backs (individuals or pairs facilitate ten-minute teach-backs on selected topics), Considerations for delivery preparation and facilitator competencies. Breakthrough conversations – structuring different coaching conversations. You’ll be on your feet, having a go at facilitating and coaching using Insights Discovery. All delegates will complete a ‘Confirmation of Learning’ and review this with their facilitators and other delegates on Day 4.

Day Four: Applying Insights Discovery

Reviewing Confirmation of Learning, Exploring additional parts of the Insights Discovery Portfolio, Virtual / In-person delivery focus, Working with teams exercises. You’ll also look at the practical ways in which you can use Insights Discovery to address business challenges and how you can keep the magic of it alive for the individuals and teams you work with.

Post IDA 

You will receive an email from Insights shortly after the IDA with the following information to help embed the learning and support you as a new practitioner.

Practice Profiles: Insights will invite you to nominate three people to complete the evaluator and receive their own Insights Discovery Personal Profile. You will then use these to practice coaching with colleagues, potential customers or family and friends.

Resources: In addition to extensive resources handed out on the programme, afterwards you will also have: 

  • Access to Connections, our practitioner website, where you can connect with the community of practitioners and access all of our latest learning materials.
  • Open invites to regular CPD webinars designed to enhance your learning and show you how to work with Insights Discovery in a variety of workplace situations; 
  • Various invitations to events such as our annual practitioner conferences and networking events.
Performance Catalyst will be in touch to arrange a 1:1 with you to hear your reflections on the IDA and to help us understand how we can support you moving forward.

We will also use this meeting to discuss various option of buying Insights profiles, units and materials from us to get you started!

The 4-day Insights Discovery Accreditation Programme:

In-person Accreditation:  £4333.00  per delegate + VAT

Virtual Accreditation: £3817.00 per delegate + VAT

Included in the IDA cost, are the following Insights Materials:

  • Workshop journals: The sample workshop journals are learning aids that allow your session delegates to capture their thoughts and learnings over their workshop
  • Practitioner guides: The guides explain the theory behind the model and also give you a step-by-step walkthrough of how to deliver the Insights Discovery content, with details of exercises and best practice facilitation tips
  • Four-colour blocks: A visual aid that allows learners to display their colour energies; also a useful practitioner resource for running exercises
  • Insights card game: A highly engaging exercise that introduces the colour energies to groups
  • PowerPoint presentations: The delivery resources for you to use in your own sessions

12 Months after you completed your IDA, an annual Licence fee will be payable to go towards the support and resources provided by Insights throughout.

Client Practitioner (CP) Annual Fee: £350 + VAT

Licences Practitioner (LP) Annual Fee: £450 + VAT

IDA completed and ready to get started? Here is what you need:

  • Insights Profiles: Each participant in your planned workshop will need to complete a personal Insights Profile. This can be ordered directly from Performance Catalyst by emailing orders@performancecatalyst.uk. Profiles will vary in price (usually between £70-£90 each), depending on how you choose to engage with us and the different chapters you need. The more bulk you buy, the more cost effective they are! Once you are accredited, we will be able to give you exact cost on profile units and materials.
  • Insights Bricks: Although these are technically optional, we consider them as an essential part of the workshops we deliver. They are a fantastic learning tool throughout the workshop and also incredibly valuable visual reminder to keep Insights alive after the workshop!  Each Insights four-colour block set is £7.50 + VAT (per participant)
  • Insights Discovery 72-Type Floor Mat: These mats are available in different sizes and materials and are a must-have for your workshops! It’s a once-off investment and once you are are set and ready with your mat, you will use this same one for every workshop you run.  These sell for between £200 – £300 +  VAT, depending on size and material you prefer. 
There are many additional resources, workbooks and materials that can further enrich your training and the workshop experience for participants, however, the above, and the pack of Insights Cards that you will receive on your IDA will set you up for a great start!

As an Insights Partner and Distributor, Performance Catalyst will support you through the accreditation process and also help you to ‘find your feet’ when you first start delivering sessions within your organisation. We can support you by either leading a few initial sessions with required groups (whilst you observe the sessions), or co-facilitate with you when you are ready. After that we can also provide support with content design, challenging programmes or with facilitating large groups of delegates should you need more facilitators. We will be on hand for any questions you might have throughout your journey!

You will also be part of the Performance Catalyst Distributorship community, with regular check-ins, virtuals get-togethers and annual events.

As well as being part of the Distributorship, you will be part of the Global Community of practitioners, a network of inspirational people from around the world who partner with Insights Discovery to create transformational solutions in the workplace.

Learning doesn’t stop at accreditation. Your journey continues through access to Insights experts, becoming part of a global community of practitioners where you can learn from each other, share best practice and create peer support, and access to a curriculum of professional development for you to select how you want to continue to grow with Insights.

Insights offers support in the following ways:

Webinars: To give flexible access to learning Insights have a series of complimentary webinars which offer further instruction in the application of Insights Discovery. These are available throughout the year and are hosted by Insights experts.

Practitioner events: Becoming part of our practitioner community enables networking and learning from others in a diverse range of sectors and organisations. We host an annual conference to which all of our practitioners are invited, and also arrange smaller events throughout the year for networking purposes.

Insights Connections: ‘Connections’ is the online go-to place for resources, help and support to design amazing learning solutions. It is an incredible source for templates, guides, videos, research and vibrant supportive community!

STEP 1:  Decide whether you would prefer to attend the virtual or in-person accreditation. Then, choose the dates that suits you from the Face-to-Face Accreditation Calendar or the Virtual Accreditation Calendar .

The in-person accreditations always seem to filling up fast, so we would suggest registering sooner rather than later for these. Your registration can be cancelled or moved providing 21-day notice is given.

There is a question on the registration page which asks the following – ‘Are you supported by Insights or one of our partner organisations?’

PLEASE SELECT ‘Partner’ and not ‘Insights’ and then enter ‘Performance Catalyst’ in the space provided

Once registered, you  will receive a ‘confirmation and pre work email’ which will include the joining instructions and all required pre-work. Please get in touch if you have not receive this within 24 hours! 

The ‘Confirmation and pre-work email’ that you will receive, will prompt you to: 

  • Complete your Insights Discovery Profile by following the link provided
  • Watch the 3 suggested video’s before attending the IDA
